Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is one of the fastest growing allied areas of medicine that seeks to improve movement dysfunction, promote optimal health and function of human body. It is the system of treatment of disease & disability using physical exercises and various electrotherapy modalities. Physiotherapy help in optional functioning of body. It involves the assessment, maintenance, restoration of physical fucntion and performance of body. About College
Initiating from a single room school (in 1958) the trail-blaze Mrs. Shanta Chopra entrenched a huge clique if St. Soldier Educational Society having 26 schools, 17 colleges & 6 national open schools. The society is now on its way towards sky with and ecciesiastical mission of divulging equality education incorpeating cognitive approach & latest trends. Realising the competitive trends in modern education St. Soldier College (Co-ed.) behind NIT(REC) has been opened. The college give exalted opportunities to students who wish to rise higher & higher. About Department
St. Soldier College (Co-ed.) is successfully running the Department of Phsiotherapy since 2007. The department has established as per guidance of I.A.P. and is affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The department is having well designed infrastructure and all modren equipments needed to teach th students.

Library
It is repository of learning and knowledge with over 1000 books on Physiotherapy medical subject and related areas. The library has periodicais and Journals also to give latest knowledge in field of physiotherapy to the students. To cultivate values and competition in students, the library has wide array of books on social issue, aptitude & attitude building. Library attendance is mandatory for the students.

Physiotherapy aims to restore normal or near normal activity of daily living to patients suffering from disease, disability or injury Physiotherapy clinic of St. Soldier College (Co-ed.) has been rendering services to patients for 3 years. It is headed by a senior Physiotherapist. Some of the fields in which clinic plays an important role are fractures, Nerve Injuries, various types of paralysis, Amputation, Burns, Cardiopulmonary conditions, Sports Injuries, Pediatric problems, post operative cases, obesity etc. Clinic has been a success and large no. of patients with long term disease & disabilities has been benefitted
